Jesse, Zion National Park, Utah
Back in July, Jess and I finally went on our honeymoon. We decided that we both wanted to go on a running retreat in Arizona. Bizarre? I know… for most people it is, but for us it was the most perfect 10 days we could have asked for.
Here are some highlights:
After running 6 days in a row we decided to take a day off and raft down a river in Utah
A quick stop at the Hoover Dam
A quick trip to Vegas leaves Jesse getting silly at the Luxor
Navajo National Monument.
The Shilohs even made their way into Flagstaff to see us.
Self Portrait at sun set in Zion National Park
After a hot day running in Sedona we got to take a cool dip in this vortex pool
The Grand Canyon
Last Friday I was invited to participated in a Vancouver summer tradition: Night Visions. Night Visions is a photography projection show hosted most often outdoors. Although I was unable to attend this weekends show in Chinatown, I hear it was one of the biggest yet bringing in 400 people through out the night.
These photos are from my last two trips to Africa, some of which people have seen and most of which have not. I thought I would share them with you.
The Shilohs at Killarney Estates. One of the best bands in Vancouver.

Life is a bit of whirlwind these days. Apart from a slight change in careers and running a marathon, we got married! This photo is an outtake I took from our ‘pre-wedding-wedding’. We decided to get the papers signed right before our actually wedding so we could have our best friend marry us and not worry about finding a commissioner on Easter Sunday. This is one photo from this day. My good friend Alana Patterson took our real wedding photos.. you can a peak at some of them HERE
